Contest Rules including Terms & Conditions

We’ve highlighted a few key terms and conditions below but encourage you to read the complete contest rules by clicking HERE.

  1. There’s no limit on the number of people who can enter.
  2. Each registrant may enter as many unique stories as they like.
  3. Entries can only be made by current high school, college or vocational students, whose schools partner with the Blood Institution in 2016. 
  4. Stories must be 500 – 2,000 words.
  5. Stories must be submitted by the contest deadline.
  6. Photographs and other media can be included and are encouraged.
  7. First, second and third place winners will be awarded a monetary prize and their submissions will be posted on the website.
  8. Employees of GBF and the Blood Institute, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
  9. By entering you agree to us using your submission as we see fit, whether or not you win a prize.
