Criteria for Successful Applications
APPLICATION DETAILS
1. Your application should be between 300 and 1,000 words,
2. Demonstrate your involvement in - and commitment to - donor recruitment and management activity
3. Persuade that new learning can be shared with others to produce broad-based and sustainable benefit.
We encourage using pictures to support your application (for example of yourself at work or of initiatives you have been responsible for). You can edit a submitted entry at any time until the closing date.
In assessing your application, the following factors will be considered:
Organisational Need. Preference will be given to applicants who clearly demonstrate how their organisation will benefit from improved donor recruitment and management practise. Except in exceptional circumstances, only one applicant is likely to be successful from any one organisation/country.
Donor-Focus. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrates a sustained commitment to donor-related issues
Level of Involvement. Applicants who are actively engaged with donor recruitment and retention issues will generally be preferred to those who have more tangential responsibility
Capacity to Share. Preference will be given to applicants who clearly demonstrate how the training they receive will be shared for the benefit of others in their organisation
Effort/word count. Preference will be given to applications where content is well thought-through and skillfully crafted. Longer entries will generally be preferred to shorter, providing that other quality considerations are met. The inclusion of photographs and other media is encouraged.
The window for application will close midnight 31 October 2017. Those selected to attend the IDEaM programme will be notified within 4 weeks of the closing date.
